13 - 17 October  - BRGM-COCO2GeoNet’s 2008 training course
Venue: BRGM Orléans, France

Title of the course: Modelling chemical reactivity during CO2 geological storage.
The aim of this course is to:
- Raise awareness concerning the impacts of geochemical processes on CO2 storage for up to 10,000 years, - Acquire basic knowledge on geochemical modelling and become familiar with certain standard modelling codes, - Learn which methodology to adopt when modelling real CO2 storage test cases.

Course agenda. Registration

16 - 20 November 2008  - 9th International Conference Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies (GHGT-9)
Venue: Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington DC

One of the principal international conferences on greenhouse mitigation technologies. The last conference, GHGT-8, was the largest held to date, attracting over 950 delegates.
